  3. To read Latin is being able to pronounce the Latin language. Reading Latin is different from understanding the vocabulary of what you are reading, the order in which to read it, and comprehending what it means along with what is happening. I don't mean being able to translate it into english and then reading it, but to be able to understand it in the latin form with no translations.

  7. Reading Latin means that you can fully understand the matterial and feel comfortable with Latin in General,Latin is not a spoken language, so if you can read Latin,then that means that you're fluent.

  11. Reading Latin would mean that you understand it. Understanding Latin would complete enhance your vocabulary, seeing as like, 65% of words in English are derivatives of Latin. It also means having the ability to read not only most English and have a firm grasp of it, but also being able to read different languages such as French and Spanish and being able to 'expand your horizons' even more.

  12. Reading Latin means that you fully understand the concept of the language because it is read and written, not spoken like most languages. And reading Latin also helps you to learn other languages as well because Latin is the root of most modern-day languages. You are also able to translate and read passages, poems, stories, etc. in Latin as well.

  13. To read Latin is to understand not only the language of Latin but the significance of the sentence in which uses Latin. Reading Latin is also beneficial to many people as it has a huge influence on other languages, like English, French, or Spanish.

  15. To read the Latin language you are not only learning words but also the culture and ways of past civilizations. This goes for learning any kind of language. The more we learn about eachother as a world the more we can come together as a whole.
